Bare Buff!!
Buff Ermin was a welcome addition to the garden list last night:
and Buff tip was a nice addition to my life list, caught in my girlfriend's garden in Henlow:

Arlesey NR
Ed and set out with my new (rubbish) generator to try some trapping at Arlesey NR. Conditions were good and we did OK from 21:45 - 23:00 before my generator stopped working!! we were plagued by green carpet!

Certainly worth a trip with a more reliably genny!!!In my trap at home I had a decent hawl with lots of new Micros (now with David manning for ID!), treble lines, treble-bar, lime hawkmoth and white ermin. I also had the 2 moths below, an ID help would be great... (thanks Matt for the IDs)

Jackpot!!
One of the main moths I really wanted to catch in my garden was privet Hawkmoth, and....
waheyy, found this beauty in the trap after the night of the 18th of May!

moth 1 (looks like a hedge rustic to me but wrong time of year...) - Marbled Minor agg
moth 2 (looks a little like a Northern Dart but it's not...) - Light Broncade
moth 3 (I have a few ideas but they are definatly wrong...) - Marbled Minor agg
The Garden list is over 50 moth species, I only started counting this year so hoping to increase that!!
